Great usable case to protect the monocle during storage or if carried in a pocket.Some do consider it an eccentricity to wear a monocle around one's neck all the time, BUT I've never cared what others think.
I searched for weeks, and could find only one case for my reading monocle that I could buy without buying another monocle, and that was this one. It's a little more expensive than I'd like, but in no way is it a waste of money. It looks great, is easy to use, and shows every sign of being durable enough to last quite a while. I'd love it if someone were to make a hard-shell version of this, but on the whole I'm quite satisfied.
