Our Tailoring Service

A well-made pair of pants deserves to fit just as well as it looks. Whether you need a shorter leg length or suspender buttons fitted, our in-house tailoring service ensures your purchase is ready to wear from the moment it arrives.

Once reserved for bespoke tailoring, these finishing touches are now available on a carefully selected range of Peter Christian garments. Every alteration is carried out with precision and care, leaving you with a fit that's smart, comfortable and unlikely to cause a disagreement with your socks.

Custom Leg Length

A well-dressed gentleman knows that the right pant length makes all the difference. Whether you prefer your hem to kiss the shoe or sit a little shorter, our custom hemming service ensures your pants arrive ready to wear – without the need for a trip to the local tailor.

Most of our pant collections are stocked with a maximum inseam of 33" or 34", depending on the style. From there, our in-house tailoring team can shorten them to your preferred inseam, with half-inch precision. Simply select your required inseam from the drop-down menu on the product page before adding your pants to your cart.

Each pair is carefully altered to your chosen measurements, ensuring a smart finish that's made to fit. After all, life's too short for pants that are too long.

Suspender Buttons

If you're a gentleman who prefers suspenders to belts, you're in good company. Comfortable, practical and considerably kinder to a well-earned lunch, suspenders have been keeping pants exactly where they belong for generations.

Our suspender button fitting service adds six buttons neatly inside the waistband of your pants, ready for your favorite pair of suspenders. Each button is carefully sewn by our in-house tailoring team, giving you a secure, discreet finish that's there when you need it and out of sight when you don't.

Available on all our pants, simply select Suspender Buttons from the drop-down menu on the product page before adding your pants to your cart.

Please note all services are an additional cost on top of the price of pants, however the total price will be displayed in your basket.

All garments with alterations are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, unless faulty.
Please allow up to 10 additional working days for dispatch – our tailors aren't rushed, and neither should your pants be. You will receive an email notifying you of when your pants have been dispatched.
These services are not available with Next Day or Express shipping options.
