Celebrating 20 Years of Peter Christian
It was 20 years ago that Nick 'Lord Trousers' Alderton together with wife Miranda founded menswear brand Peter Christian. It's been quite a journey.
After years honing their craft in the realm of men's sartorial splendor, our bright-eyed couple with a dream of independence embarked on a grand adventure and set up Peter Christian. The subsequent boundless rise of the business can be attributed to hard work, determination, and a studiously picked team of talented, enthusiastic folk to keep the merry wheels spinning. So what better way to celebrate the grand milestone of 20 years' trading than a good old fashioned garden party with the whole gang.
My, my how time flies. It was twenty years ago that me and 'Lady T' launched Peter Christian, Gentlemen's Outfitters. We had both been working in the menswear business for years, but the time had come to set out on our own.- Lord Trousers
Lord T (who insisted on calling this his “20th birthday party”) is dressed up to the summer nines in our showstopping Seersucker Jacket Blazer with signature hare-emblazoned pocket square, crisp white Seidensticker Shirt with silk cravat, stone Flat Front Chinos and Penny Loafers, topped off with classic Folder Panama Hat.
And as you, our treasured customers, are as much part of the Peter Christian story as this lovely rabble, please join us in raising a glass to both the past and the future. Onward together!

4Get fit and quality
As I’ve said in my other reviews of other chinos I’ve bought from Peter Christian, these chinos are excellent. The fabric isn’t hefty, but if you’re looking for medium weight, simple cotton trousers, these fit the bill. The rise is high, which is an extremely desirable attribute for me. Low-rise trousers do no favors for anyone. Mid-rise trousers are OK, kind of, but get these chinos if you want a classic fit.
Nice accesory
These arre great pants.
I ordered 36/30. There’s no way these are 30 length as they drag on the floor. I now need to get them hemmed at an additional cost.
Other than fit problem, I’m very satisfied with the pants.

these are great slacks, they fit well. They make an 80 year-old man look and feel like he is 25, or perhaps45!!
I already told you i like the pants but wish they were hip huggers.
