excellent product, waiting for exchange to see if I can get a perfect fit.
I really wanted fine winter (wool, flannel) trousers and Peter Christian’s Donegal trousers fit the bill. Looking forward to wearing them.
Interior lining was poorly sown.
I returned all 2 items for a larger waist size and the 3rd item for store credit. But I NEVER HEARD FROM YOU AGAIN. I would love to receive my orders in the correct size. Thank you. Ron Finch (909) 556-6691.
More scratchy than the less expensive tweed trousers the real issue with these are the fit. I've been buying form PC from a few years now and know how I fit in their clothes BUT apparently these heavy tweed trousers are done at a different place and they run differently meaning you are in for an unpleasant surprise as these run smaller than EVERY OTHER TROUSER I"'VE EVER BOUGHT from them. While the logical thing for PC to do is relabel, nope. SO ORDER A SIZE LARGER THAN YOU USUALLY WOULD FOR THE WAIST
It's definitely worth the money, especially since there's the vest and shirt to match, though it can work with and compliment other clothes depending.

A true Donegal tweed is probably the most beautiful woven fabric available. Whomever the tailor for Peter Christian is, they are totally world-class.
Oddly fitting, but not quite right
The waist is true to size - don't expect to be coddled with these US vanity sizes. 42 means 42... deal with it. The pants sit slightly higher on the waist like a good pair of trousers should. None of this low slung hipster nonsense! The tweed is gorgeous, and the satin liner makes them comfy to wear. The seat and legs are roomy without being baggy, and the leg openings are just the right size. Very happy to find them in a 31" length.
