Product Pricing

The price of the products shall be the price confirmed by us at the time an order is placed.

While we take all reasonable care to ensure that information in our catalogues and online is accurate, errors may occur. In the event of an error in the pricing of the products you have ordered (whether this is by our error or an error by any third party), we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of re-confirming the order at the correct prices or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as canceled. If you have already paid for the products and we subsequently cancel the order, you will receive a full refund.

In the event that we are unable to supply the products at the pricing or specifications stated in the order, we will where possible notify you of any changes. Where the products ordered are not available we may offer you substitute products in which case you will be asked to re-confirm your order at the new pricing and/or specifications. You are not obliged to accept any substitute products and you will be entitled to receive a full refund if you confirm that the substitute products are not acceptable.

Our prices are inclusive of any applicable value added tax (VAT) or other sales tax (at the rate from time to time in force). Any VAT, packaging or delivery costs for which you shall be liable will be confirmed prior to your order being placed. We will not be able to confirm any custom duties or tariffs applying to your order; you will be responsible for paying any such costs directly to the relevant custom officials if imposed. You should check if any custom duties or tariffs will apply to your order before placing your order.

If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply the products, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the products in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.

Commercial Use

If your order is for commercial use - any garments that are returned, will be charged a stocking fee of 10% of the value of the returned goods. 

Canadian Customers

If you're a Canadian customer shopping here at Peter Christian, you'll be requested to pay a standard Federal Sales Tax (GST) of 5%. For Ontario and the Atlantic provinces you will be requested to pay the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), which includes the GST of 5%. Ontario is required to pay the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13%. The Atlantic Provinces are required to pay the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 15%.

On top of this, you'll also have to pay duties on any purchases that are over CAD $150 and a $10.75 Canadian Post admin fee.

How much total tax will I be requested to pay?
We're unable to advise how much total tax you'll have to pay as this varies by province and, in the case of Customs Duty, by product.

Are you directly paying for the Federal Sales Tax?
We're not directly paying for the Federal Sales Tax. You'll still have to go through the standard procedure and receive the E14 Customs Invoice form and pay the sales tax, duty charges and handling fee as you normally would before the order gets released to you.
